Hello, XXX!

As part of our security measures, we regularly screen activity in the
PayPal system. During a recent screening, we noticed an issue regarding
your account.

We are very sorry, but in accordance with the PayPal User Agreement, we are
no longer able to have you as a customer.  While we wish you the best of
success in your future business endeavors, we respectfully ask that you
seek another method of payment for your online transactions.

We have had to close your account for the following reason:

Various U.S. agencies have sanctions in place that substantially regulate
or ban all trade with particular countries, including but not limited to
Cuba, Iran, Iraq, Libya and North Korea.  Activity on your account has been
identified or linked with the facilitation of commercial transactions with
Cuba which is against rules and regulations as promulgated by the Office of
Foreign Assets Control (OFAC), U.S. Department of the Treasury.

For more details about laws governing such trades and copies of the actual
governing laws, you can visit OFAC's website at
http://www.treasury.gov/resource-center/sanctions/Pages/default.aspx.

This is not a decision we make lightly, and we deeply regret any
inconvenience or frustration this matter may cause you.  This matter has
been reviewed at length, and this decision is final.

Sincerely,
PayPal Compliance Department

Dear Paypal-staff,

sorry about complaining. We know that this not affecting your business. But our business depends on your decision.

Our account has been canceled a few days ago (6/27/2011).

It's not true, that we are involved in any business with Cuba.
That's completely wrong!

Our business (please look at the homepage www.phone2cuba.info) is just for people (of course mostly cubans), that want to call their friends or family in Cuba over an economic way (like we offer). We set up the calls using VOIP without any influence of the Cuban government or their phone company. In fact, the cuban government is observing us and persecuting our employees.

If necessary, we can prove it with the logs of our softphone, from where we do the calls.

Please prove your cancellation again and set the account free.

Best regards
